When To Take A Shower And Why

Considering our daily routines and habits, whether we take a shower in the morning or evening depends on the effects we want from the shower.
When to take a shower and why

Taking a shower is one of the most common activities common to all people and is considered just one of the daily routines.

After the 18th century, hygiene became part of human habits. Before that, washing was still considered harmful to the body. It is no wonder, then, that it was forbidden to children.

While showering and washing seems like a simple matter, it involves more than just getting wet, soaping, and rinsing.

In addition to washing yourself, there are other reasons to use the shower, such as relaxing, refreshing, feeling better, and in many cases also treating some ailments.

Controversial issue

As a large proportion of the world’s population uses a shower, there are, of course, many different perspectives involved.

One of the most popular ways to take a shower is in the morning before the day’s chores and again in the evening before going to bed when all the activities are done (i.e. twice a day). While people tend to wash during the aforementioned times, it is worth noting that there is no absolute truth as to what time you should go to the shower.

It is also not worth arguing on the subject, given that it is a very private matter that depends on the person himself.

1. When you are dirty

This argument is perhaps one of the most common when people need to get in the shower. It is the most logical of them, as washing is very cleansing.

2. For pleasure

This may sound weird, but many people take a shower to get pleasure. This also includes relaxation, which may be very necessary for the muscles.

Think of your skin

There is nothing controversial in the above claims as to when to shower. But there is one essential factor that only a few keep in mind: skin. This is one of the most important things to consider when taking a shower.

The skin has a certain protective layer of bacteria. Excessive spraying and the use of detergents (soap, creams, etc.) can greatly affect it.

Medical experts recommend taking a shower only once a day to avoid damaging the skin protection layer mentioned above. It should be borne in mind that all washes over time can lead to skin problems such as dermatitis or allergies.

So when should you take a shower?

Shower

Suffice it to say that there are many valid reasons why you should take a shower both in the morning and in the evening.

Here are some of those who support both options:

Shower in the mornings

It is recommended that you take a shower in the morning only if some of the following things happen to you:

  • You wake up early.
  • You have trouble shaving your hair early in the morning.
  • Drowsiness when getting out of bed.
  • Excessive night sweats.
  • Light working day.
  • Washing in the evening affects the amount of sleep.
  • Greasy skin.

Visiting the shower in the evenings

The reasons for evening washing, especially just before going to bed, are usually the opposite of the reasons mentioned above.

  • Too little time in the morning.
  • You are wearing makeup that needs to get your skin off the skin properly in the evening.
  • Excessive fatigue.
  • A demanding working day.
  • Great physical activity (sports or walking).
  • Excessive sweating during the day.
  • Moving by bike from one place to another.
  • You want to relax to sleep better.

What kind of water is suitable for taking a shower?

After considering these arguments about when to wash, one question remains unresolved: what kind of water should be used?

There are usually two options: hot and cold. To these could be added a third, which is lukewarm. It is never good to go to extremes. Therefore, the most recommended water for the body is lukewarm (more cool than hot).
