Sometimes a home can smell stale, and there’s no reason to find it right away. It is a good idea to find out as soon as possible what causes musty or bad odors. The most common reasons are:

Mix a few drops of essential vanilla oil with water and rub the mixture on wooden furniture and light bulbs. As the light bulb warms up, it releases the scent of vanilla into the space.

In a large bowl, mix the desi bleach with cold water and place in the sink. Allow the mixture to stand for 20 minutes and then rinse off the bleach.
